Terms of Service
Version 2026-10c · The English text governs for customers outside Israel.
These terms apply to everyone who signs up for the service or uses the software.
1. Definitions
- The provider — The Baron Print, Registration no. 069393304, Shmurat Zichron Commercial Center, Zichron Ya'akov, Israel, the owner of the rights in the EasyPrinter software and the operator of the service.
- The software — the EasyPrinter print-shop management software, installed on the customer's computer, including its updates.
- The service — the license to use the software, the licensing and billing server, the account area at account.easyprinter.co.il, the updates and the support.
- The customer — the business that signed up for the service. The service is intended for businesses only (a sole trader, a company or a partnership), for use in the course of their business, and is not offered to private consumers. Whoever signs up on behalf of a business declares that they are authorised to bind it.
- The price list — the subscription fee and the trial period, as published on easyprinter.co.il and on the signup page.
2. The license
- For as long as the customer complies with these terms and pays on time, the provider grants the customer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software for the purposes of its business.
- The license is granted for a period of one month, renews automatically every month, and is tied to the computer on which the software was activated. Moving to another computer is done by reinstalling from the account area, and the license on the previous computer is then cancelled.
- The software contacts the provider's servers from time to time, among other things to renew the license. A computer that stays disconnected from the internet for a long time may be locked until the connection is restored.
- All rights in the software, its code, its design and the EasyPrinter name are reserved to the provider. The software may not be copied, distributed, rented out, sold or made available to anyone else; it may not be reverse engineered, and its licensing mechanisms or its sending of usage data may not be circumvented or modified.
- The computer, the operating system, the network, the printers, the paper and the consumables are the customer's responsibility and at the customer's expense.
- The software is intended to be installed on a computer that meets the system requirements published on the service's website — operating system, hardware, a permanent connection to the printers' network and an internet connection. The provider may update the requirements along with software updates, including ending support for an operating-system version its maker no longer supports. Support under section 9 does not apply to a computer that does not meet the requirements, and a fault originating in such a computer is not the provider's responsibility.
3. Price and billing
- The service is offered as a single plan, for a fixed monthly subscription fee according to the price list. The subscription fee does not include VAT; VAT is added to it as required by law.
- The subscription fee covers one installation of the software on one computer, with no limit on the number of printers or on the number of workstations connecting to the software. An additional print shop or an additional branch requires a separate subscription.
- The subscription fee is charged in advance, on the 1st of every month, for the month that begins, to the credit card saved at signup or updated in the account area.
- The first charge is made on the day after the trial period ends (section 5), and is prorated for the days remaining until the end of that month. If the trial period ends on the last day of a month, the first charge is the regular monthly charge on the 1st of the following month.
- At signup the customer provides credit card details and authorises the provider to charge the card in recurring charges under these terms, until cancellation. The card details are stored with the payment processor only; the provider keeps a charging token, the last four digits and the card's expiry date.
- For every charge, a tax invoice/receipt is sent to the customer's email address; it is also available in the account area.
- The provider may update the price list. A price change takes effect no sooner than 30 days after notice by email, and the customer may cancel the service before then under section 7.
- Prices for customers outside Israel are quoted and charged in US dollars, euros or pounds sterling, as shown at signup, and are not linked to any exchange rate. No Israeli VAT is charged to a customer outside Israel; the invoice states the supply as an export of services.
4. Usage data
- The software automatically sends the provider technical data about the use of the software and of the printers connected to it. The data does not include the content of the files.
- The provider uses the data to operate the service, for support and to improve the software.
- Sending the data may not be blocked or interfered with; an attempt to do so is a breach of section 2.4.
5. Trial period and joining offer
- One month from the day of signup is free of charge (the trial period). After it, for the number of months and at the discount rate published in the price list, the subscription fee is reduced (the introductory price). The periods are counted by calendar dates: for example, for a signup on 15 October the trial period runs until 14 November, and the introductory price applies from 15 November until the end of the published period; a day within the period is charged at the introductory price, and a day after it at the full price.
- At signup the credit card is saved and checked for validity without any charge. No charge is made during the trial period.
- About a week before the trial period ends, and about a week before the introductory price ends, the customer is sent an email reminder with the date and the amount of the charge.
- Cancelling during the trial period costs nothing; the service continues until the end of the trial period (section 7).
- The joining offer (the trial period and the introductory price) is given once per business. A business or company registration number is required at signup. A business that has already received the offer — including through an account that was cancelled — may sign up again at the full price. If it turns out after signup that the offer was already used, the provider may withdraw it and charge the full price from the following day, after notice by email; amounts already charged at the introductory price will not be charged again.
6. Non-payment
- If a charge is declined, the customer is sent an email with a link to update the payment method, and the provider will try to charge again over the following days.
- If a charge is declined and not settled, the license does not renew, and the software locks when its validity ends (for the monthly charge: from the 16th of that month). The exact lock date appears in the notice sent to the customer. The data on the customer's computer is kept during the lock as well.
- Settling the debt puts the license back into operation. A debt that has not been settled remains owed by the customer, and the provider may collect it by any lawful means, plus indexation and interest as provided by law.
- The provider may also block an account because of a transaction disputed with the credit card company, use contrary to these terms, or a reasonable suspicion of fraud.
7. Cancellation
- There is no commitment period. The customer may cancel the service at any time from the account area or by contacting the provider.
- The cancellation takes effect at the end of the period paid in advance — the end of the month for which the last subscription fee was charged, or the end of the trial period. Until then the service keeps working as usual and no further charges are made, and the customer may withdraw the cancellation from the account area.
- If there is no period paid in advance (for example when the last charge was declined), the cancellation takes effect immediately, and the open debt remains owed by the customer under section 6.3.
- When the cancellation takes effect, the license does not renew and the software locks. It is recommended to export or back up the data needed before then; the data itself stays on the customer's computer.
- Subscription fees paid are not refunded, even if the service was cancelled in the middle of the month.
- The provider may stop providing the service to the customer with 30 days' notice, and in the case of a material breach — immediately.
- Sections 2.4, 6.3, 8, 10 and 13 continue to apply after the engagement ends.
8. The customer's responsibilities
- The customer is responsible for any use made of the software and of its account area, for keeping the links and codes sent to it confidential, and for keeping its contact details and payment method up to date.
- The customer alone is responsible for the files and content that it and its customers upload to the software and print with it — including copyright, trademarks, defamation and privacy — and for its relations with its customers, including prices, delivery, invoices and refunds.
- The customer controls the information about its customers stored in the software, and is responsible for complying, with respect to it, with the privacy-protection and accessibility laws that apply to its business.
- The data is stored on the customer's computer only. Backing up the data, securing the computer and the network, and restricting access to the software are the customer's responsibility.
- The customer will use the software in accordance with all applicable law, and will check every job — file, settings, paper and tray — before printing in quantity.
9. Availability, updates and support
- The software and the service are provided as is (AS IS). The provider works to fix faults and to keep the service available, but does not undertake that the software will work without faults or without interruptions, or that it will suit every need.
- Printer compatibility: the provider does not undertake that the software will work with every printer model, with every finishing feature or with every tray setting. The behaviour of the printer itself is outside the provider's control.
- The provider releases software updates from time to time. An update may add features, change them or remove them. Support is given for the latest version only.
- Support is provided by email and WhatsApp on business days, with reasonable effort and with no commitment to a response time.
- The provider may take the service's servers down for maintenance. A valid license keeps working on the customer's computer during such downtime as well.
10. Limitation of liability
- The provider will not be liable for indirect, consequential or special damage, including loss of income or profit, loss of customers, loss of data, rejected print jobs, paper and consumables, downtime and damage to equipment.
- In any event, the provider's total liability to the customer, on any cause of action whatsoever, will not exceed the amount the customer actually paid the provider in the three months preceding the event for which liability is claimed.
- The customer will indemnify the provider for any third-party claim or demand arising from content printed with the software or from the customer's use contrary to these terms.
- Nothing in this section limits a liability that by law cannot be limited or excluded.
11. Privacy
- The provider collects and keeps: the details of the business and of the contact person given at signup; billing data, invoices and the charging token as described in section 3.5; technical usage data as described in section 4; the license identifier and the hardware fingerprint of the computer on which the software is installed; the software version; and IP addresses and access logs of the service's servers.
- The customer's print files, orders and end-customer details are kept on the customer's computer, and are not transferred to the provider. Diagnostic files are created on the customer's computer only, and reach the provider only if the customer chooses to send them for support.
- The information is used to provide the service, for billing, to issue accounting documents, for support, to prevent misuse and to improve the software. The provider does not sell information and does not pass it to third parties, except to service providers acting on its behalf (payment processing, server hosting, email, bookkeeping) or where the law requires it.
- Accounting documents are kept for the period the law requires. Other information is kept for as long as the account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards.
- To review the information, to correct it or to ask for its deletion, write to info@easyprinter.co.il.
- The service's messages — invoices, billing alerts, verification codes and notices of changes to these terms — are sent by email and are part of the service.
12. Changes to these terms
- The provider may update these terms. Notice of a material change is sent by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and the updated text and its version number are published on this page.
- A customer who does not agree to a change may cancel the service under section 7 before the change takes effect. Continued use after that constitutes agreement to the updated text.
- The version of the terms the customer accepted at signup is recorded in its account.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
- These terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts of the Haifa District have exclusive jurisdiction over any matter relating to them.
- The customer may not assign its rights or obligations under these terms without the provider's written consent. The provider may assign them to whoever acquires the EasyPrinter business.
- These terms, together with the price list, are the entire agreement between the parties. If any provision of them is held invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force. The provider's refraining from exercising a right is not a waiver of it.
- Notices to the customer are sent to the email address registered in its account and are deemed received within one business day of being sent.
